Script analysis: Chinatown
The Theme
I wanted the restaurant to look like a high class hangout for cowboys. The cowboy references and western classic adventure themes reflect the spirit of the main character and the journey he is about to go on
Rhino Model
The entryway into the dining room, lined with lamps and picture frames
A view of the bar area where beautiful stained glass lights hang above patrons heads
Paintings and pictures of the western plains, heroic cowboys and animal herds will be displayed on the walls
Since this restaurant design is based on the needs of the script "Chinatown" these are the booths in which the main characters will sit and converse, giving them a clear view of the rest of the restaurant and framing them nicely.
